Once again, we are honoured to be part of such a great community event, MIFF. We will be serving up our legendary Prime Rib Dinner before the screening of “The Penguin Lessons” Sunday Sept 21st.
The wait is over—MIFF 2025’s film lineup has been revealed, and it’s our most exciting slate yet! Join us for four unforgettable days of award-winning international cinema, gourmet dinners, and community celebration.
2025 Film Lineup
Thursday, Sept 18 – Red Carpet Gala (7 pm, $50)
Kick off the festival in style with live music by violinist Victoria Yeh, cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and that unmistakable Old Hollywood atmosphere.
Friday, Sept 19
– 1:30 pm – Never Look Away: A compelling documentary about CNN camerawoman Margaret Moth, directed by Lucy Lawless.
– Dinner – Franny’s Mercato (Chef Franny Wensley): Rustic Italian cuisine with regional flair.
– 7:00 pm – Sister Midnight: A genre-bending dark comedy from India about a newlywed discovering her wild side. Directed by Karan Kandhari.
Saturday, Sept 20
– 1:30 pm – Mistress Dispeller: A powerful Chinese drama exploring love, betrayal, and the business of breaking up affairs. Directed by Elizabeth Lo.
– Dinner – Lovebird Beer x Belle Marche (Chef Ryan Praskey): A curated menu blending fresh, bold flavours from Meaford’s newest culinary destination.
– 7:00 pm – DJ Ahmet: A charming coming-of-age story from Macedonia, filled with music, humour, and heart.
Sunday, Sept 21
– 1:30 pm – I’m Still Here: A moving Brazilian political drama and 2025’s Oscar winner for Best International Feature.
-Dinner: The Dam Pub (Chef Carolyn Jones &  Edward Sleep): A classic MIFF experience with elevated comfort food from one of Meaford’s top culinary destinations.
– 7:00 pm – The Penguin Lessons: Based on a true story, this heartwarming film follows an Englishman who adopts a penguin in 1976 Argentina.
